Huck-a-Schmuck

I was at the Libertarian Party’s website tonight looking over a few articles for information. In reading through some of their material I came across this article. The article quotes Mike Huckabee, former Republican Presidential candidate, calling libertarianism, among other things, a “threat.” Of course Huck, the schmuck, wasn’t through denigrating people with different political views than his own. He further averred,  “libertarianism is a soulless type of economic conservatism.”

I’m not sure what planet the huckster is from but it must not be a place where common sense is the norm. Of course, this is the same guy who recently made a hideous “joke” about Barak Obama, the Democrat’s Presidential candidate. It appears little to no intelligence, or at the very least couth, is required to run as a Republican Presidential Candidate.

In fairness to the huckster, he’s no different than his Democrat contemporaries.. Here’s a couple of examples; a and b.

I hear many people say they’re voting for Barack or Hillary or John because they feel our country “needs a change.” Face the music folks; A vote for either of the [two] major party candidates will never equate to change. It can only result in more of the same.Ergo, voting for the same parties that have led us down the political path we’re currently on can never produce change; certainly not meaningful change. By definition, this change so many people are, professedly, wanting must be the direct result of change within orselves and who we cast our political vote(s) for. We, as a people, need not settle for crumbs when the proerbial ‘table of plenty’ is before us.

If you, as a voter, are seriously desirous of change, you must, in my view, consider a third-party candidate. It matters little to me whether you support the Libertarian Party, Green Party, Constitution Party or whatever other party. However, continuing to vote for one of the two major parties and expecting something to change is, quite frankly, insane. How’s the old adage go? Insanity - doing the same thing you’ve always done and expecting a different result.

Make a choice for real change and vote for anyone but these same ass and elephant hucksters; else we’ll find ourselves being led by yet another schmuck.
