Canada’s Carnal Export

Well, it seems Canada is making a rather distinctive name for itself within the “global marketplace.” Actually, it’s probably more correct to say Canadian women are making their sexual-economic voice be heard within the afore-mentioned ‘global marketplace.’ Yes, you heard it right. Canadian women are making an economic, if you will, coming out.

Apparently I’m behind the times as I never figured this one industry was both so vibrant and well documented. I;m referring directly to sex tourism. I realize certainly slime balls (some disturbed males) would travel to Thailand  or another country for the purpose of illicit sexual activities illegal in most developed countries but failed to realize there was a thriving sexual tourism industry.

Furthermore, it seem women have traditionally been the primary partakers of this service. I’ve had my head in the sand and didn’t know it.  :-D

So, according to Pravda, Canadian women have been making quite a global name for themselves.  I found this quote particularly interesting.

A typical female sex tourist is a middle class woman from a developed country. Citizens of Barbados , an island, which is also included in the group of sex tourism, dubbed such female travelers as “Canadian secretaries.”

And here I thought a “Canadian Secretary” was merely an overworked and under appreciated cog in the gears of Canadian business. Little did I know there more than a mere cog. They’re driving an international industry. :-D

See, it’s true. You do learn something new everyday.
