The Convoluted Muse

A hearty welcome to Ted Carpenter (and his wife Barabara) to the blogosphere. Ted is a busy fellow, you can read about him here, but has decided to dive into this world of blogging we love. As promised, here’s a note on an exceptional new widget for WordPress users. Simply put, Sphere does exactly what it claims to do: “connecting blogs with news.”

I just installed a new widget yesterday called Sphere — more on that later. In testing out the widget, I came across articles others in the blogging community had written, regarding the seemingly treasonous behavior of our elected officials. I enjoy reading others’ blogs and seeing different perspectives so I have put together a short list of articles related to this important topic.

For the last couple of months I have been using the Binary Blue theme provided by CountZero. It is an amazing theme especially under the hood but it also requires either a clear working knowledge of coding and/or the willingness to learn it. I am not a coding professional nor do I have any interest at all in learning more Php, HTML, or CSS nonsense in order to use a theme. I like using Wordpress overall but get really fed up with having to search the Internet for hours only to find the solution you need is to edit one line of code.

I saw a post tonight that I found poignant and wanted to share with ya’ll. The site is one I check daily and enjoy reading. You can read the post here. Take a moment and have a look not only at this article but the others as well. I think you’ll find them to be a good read and this particular article a real treat.
