Not Lazy….Only Tired….

I woke up early this morning; a rarity for me. You see, obstructive sleep apnea has made a good night’s rest all but impossible. I am tired all the time though I never fully reach that level of sleep which is restorative: R.E.M. sleep. The doctors have prescribed stimulants to keep me awake during the daytime; certainly preferable to falling asleep while driving but, this “quick-fix” comes at a price: even more trouble sleeping.

Arthritis Prevention, Control and Cure.

The Arthritus Foundation has asked people to contact their senator’s and representatives for their support of the Arthritis Prevention, Control and Cure Act ,
(H.R. 583/S. 424).
 I realize many people will think of other reasons to contact their elected official given the issues of the day but we have a unique opportunity to provide the necessary infrastructure to help a lot of people.

Stickler of a problem…

A few years ago, when my daughter was born, I discovered there was a reason for many of the nagging health related issues I have struggled with throughout my life. These ‘issues’ were, for the most part, ignored by doctors or labelled simply as fibromyalgia.
